Johnny Victrola

Been Playing Guitar over 25 year's. I like Folk, Blues and jazz. Born on the south side of Chicago I've Lived in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York (Upstate),L.A. San Francisco, Santa Barbara, and Ojai California. I spent a year in Bolivia and speak Spanish as well as English. I occasion the open mike circuit in Ojai,Ventura,Santa Barbara and on the rare occasion San Fransisco. I Love Music and my collection goes back over 100 years. It still amazes me that a simple tone or sypathetic harmony can produce a profound effect on the human spirit.I gave lyrics to help the homeless back in 1991 of which 2 were produced by Soul Asylum on their 1992 release Grave Dancers Union. The songs Black Gold and Runaway Train were 2 of the 5 lyrics I gave anonymously (it was suposed to look like a runaway kid wrote it not as a band member what a shark.) They did have a 800 # for runaways to call home on the video. I Hope it helped. I wish music could produce Peace. I love to rock out at times... And the howl of a wolf singing a sad song.
